Who needs to register with the NDIS Commission?

You need to be registered to deliver supports to NDIA-managed participants and to deliver certain higher-risk supports. The rules are changing, so see our NDIS mandatory registration 2027 guide or book a free consultation to check your situation.

What is the difference between verification and certification?

Verification is the audit pathway for lower-risk, lower-complexity supports. Certification applies to higher-risk supports and is a more detailed audit against the NDIS Practice Standards. Your registration groups decide which pathway applies.

How long does NDIS registration take?

It varies. The time depends on how ready your application and documents are, when your audit can be booked and how long the NDIS Commission takes to assess it. Preparing your documents early is the best way to avoid delays.

What documents do I need for NDIS registration?

You need policies and procedures that meet the NDIS Practice Standards, plus forms, records and evidence such as worker screening, qualifications, training, incident and complaint records. Our documentation kits cover these.

Who carries out the NDIS audit?

An independent NDIS approved quality auditor carries out the audit, and the NDIS Commission makes the final registration decision.

How can ISO Professionals help?

We can complete your NDIS application with you, review your registration groups, supply audit-ready documents and support you through the audit. See our NDIS registration services.
